Inzwischen entstehen die ersten Qualifikationsarbeiten im Teilprojekt 3. Die Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten beschäftigen sich mit verschiedenen Pronomen zur Referenz auf Personen in interaktionalen Verwendungszusammenhängen:

Nathalie Bauer, Jens Lanwer und Timo Schürmann haben im Rahmen der diesjährigen 10th International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association (GCLA/Deutsche Gesellschaft für kognitive Linguistik – DGKL) eine Theme Session zu „Chunking phenomena and phonological reorganization in spoken interaction“ organisisert. Die Tagung fand vom 04.-06.09.2024 an der Universität Osnabrück statt.

As part of the project, Nathalie Bauer and Jens Lanwer are editing a special issue in the ZGL on "Person reference and perspective: A usage-based redefinition of the relationship between reference and perspectivisation in German using the example of personal reference systems". The issue is to be published in October 2025.

In the winter semester 2023/24, we held a master's seminar at the University of Münster on the topic of "Interaction and grammar" with a focus on the interactional use of personal pronouns. During the project work phase, some exciting student research was carried out, including on the use of generalising pronouns in instructions, on modal verbs and personal pronouns, on the pronouns sie and die in ana- and cataphoric use and on the turn-initial use of pronouns.

On 28 February 2024, Nathalie Bauer gave a presentation on the pronominal marking of contingency in the context of positioning acts at the DGfS annual conference in Bochum (as part of the working group "Pronoun use and stancetaking"). The lecture presented the results of a study by Jens Lanwer and Nathalie Bauer on the use of "also ich" constructions in German dinner conversations.
